The goal for this Artesia living room was to create a warmer, more architectural space without relying on a single decorative feature. LBProjects coordinated custom built-in shelving, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, reclaimed wood mantel and textured wall finishes so each element worked together as part of one cohesive living room renovation. Natural wood, stone and layered textures give the room character while the custom storage keeps the space practical for everyday use.

We coordinate custom mantels and floating shelving using wood species, dimensions, stains and finishes selected to suit the surrounding room. Fireplace mantels are planned around the fireplace assembly and required clearances.
Feature walls can include board-and-batten, shiplap, vertical slat walls, geometric paneling, custom trim layouts, brick treatments and specialty textured finishes designed to add architectural detail to living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and offices.
Fireplace renovations can include new framing, mantels, built-ins and floor-to-ceiling surrounds finished with porcelain tile, manufactured or natural stone veneer, brick, plaster or other suitable materials. Electrical, gas and fireplace requirements are coordinated where the scope requires them.
Custom range hood surrounds integrate the ventilation insert and ductwork into the kitchen cabinetry and architectural design. Surrounds can be finished in cabinetry panels, wood, plaster or other materials while maintaining access, ventilation and manufacturer-required clearances.
